Social media anxiety and deleting posts

Does anyone else have a bad habit of deleting posts? Sometimes I spend so much time writing something, pouring out my heart and soul, and then deleting it after a few days. Or I might even delete the whole blog. Maybe it's subconsciously to do with the upvotes and the trending list, which I don't think is that much different to other forms of social media.

When I used to have Instagram and Facebook, I'd post photos and delete them after a couple days too. It felt so superficial/artificial on those platforms sometimes, especially when it came to friend accounts. In terms of hobby accounts, I do love to see what other creators are making. Just like I like to read what everyone's writing here.

On Bear, I've started thinking about whether I should write something that other people would want to read, rather than deep self-analysis and reflection. If I should write more attractive titles or blog how others think blogging should be done.

There seems to be quite a few people who have come to Bear to escape other social media. I wonder if categorising blogs like they used to on Geocities and Yahoo! and having the ability to get rid of the trending list, would help with social media anxiety.
